Refunds, cancellations & rescheduling
Scope
This policy applies to paid Autoinfrasolutions consultations such as Family Relocation Career Planning, Dual-Career Coordination, German Application Package Review, Interview Coaching, and Family Job Timeline Workshops. It does not cover third-party costs (translations, legal counsel, travel).
Cooling-off for distance contracts
Where mandatory German consumer law grants a withdrawal right for distance contracts, that right applies according to statute. If you ask us to begin work during a withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for services already delivered.
Deposits
Engagements usually require a deposit to reserve advisor time. Deposits are credited toward the final fee. Deposits become non-refundable once the first working session has started or annotated document review has been delivered, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Full refund eligibility
A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable alternative date within thirty days, or if we have not yet begun any paid work and you cancel in writing at least seven days before the first scheduled session.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after work has started, we invoice for completed milestones (for example, intake completed, documents rewritten, sessions held) and refund any unused prepaid balance minus a €60 administration fee. Partial refunds are not available for completed single interview-coaching sessions.
Non-refundable items
- Completed document packages already delivered digitally
- Workshop slots cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice (fee may be credited once toward a reschedule within three months)
- No-shows for scheduled video or in-person sessions without prior notice
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a session once at no charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Later changes or repeated reschedules may incur a €40 fee. We will propose new times within ten business days.
Work already started
Draft Lebenslauf files, market briefs, and timeline documents prepared before cancellation remain billable at the agreed rate for that milestone even if you choose not to continue.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days of written approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
How to request a refund
Email info@autoinfrasolutions.digital with your name, engagement date, and reason. Include the invoice reference if available. We respond within five business days.
Exceptions
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under German consumer law. Illness documented for a same-day no-show may be considered case by case for a one-time courtesy reschedule.
